Ryobi Router Table and Fence System with Plate - for Ryobi PCL424 18v Compact Router
$74.99
This is a fully functioning Compact, and Portable, Router Table that was purpose built for the for Ryobi PCL424 18v Compact Router and it INCLUDES a clear, polycarbonate base PLATE!
New and improved Fence for better dust control. Choose either Festool 27mm port or 2.5” dust port. (Some photos may show old style)
Made out of Premium Baltic Birch Plywood. The table is 3/4" and the fence is 1/2". The base plate is .220 PolyCarbonate and NOT a brittle acrylic. Polycarbonate is what most base plates that come with the routers is made from.
INCLUDES the clear plate! ITS NOT a "SWISS CHEESE" plate! Meaning, it doesnt have 20 holes drilled in it for a dozen different routers. You can use it as a larger base plate for your handheld trim router anytime you need it!
I know the price seems like it is high. Take into consideration the cost of a plate here on Etsy. The prices are all over the place. Some are $25 and up and that is for a brittle acrylic plate.
This is a DIY kit. You will get the table and fence "Flat-Packed" for shipping and you will glue and screw/nail the fence together.
When I say "DIY" and you "glue and screw it together"....it's not that hard. It's actually kinda fun and I'll provide detailed instructions on how to do it. You remember plastic models of a car or airplane? You had to snip the piece out? This is the same way. There is a little tab holding the piece into the flat pack. They come out pretty easily.
This router table is the perfect size. Too large and it wouldn't clamp up safely. Too small and it wouldn't handle a fence and dust control. Having said that, this router table is not for big projects. This is a trim router so it's meant to handle smaller items. I have used a version of it for months in my shop. I made it for myself because I was running so much small stuff all at once that I would fatigue and felt unsafe with the handheld router. Now, I can clamp it up and edge dress boards very quickly without tiring.
I wanted my table to be able to clamp up to my workbench without using special clamps as I didn't want to buy anything new. Notice in my photos that the table is very stable with two simple and small clamps. Most tables I see online have a VERY LARGE infeed portion of the table which I feel may cause some instability. I'll include a set of directions that will show you exactly how to clamp it and use it.
What you get:
DIY table, DIY Fence, T-Track, scews for T-Track, Two knobs, Two T-Nuts for the knobs, and .220 thick polycarbonate router plate with screw holes for the Ryobi trim router.
You also have the option of choosing a BLANK Plate that you can put holes in yourself. Use this option if you want to add a router that is not listed in the checkout procedure. I'll drop in a scrap piece of the polycarbonate so you can practice.
You can also get the plate for the Milwaukee Compact Router, (2723-20). I have another listing in my store for the Milwaukee router that uses its 5 3/4" circular base plate that is included with that router.
You will be living large with a single router table and two routers with different bits in them! That is exactly what I'm doing!
Router, battery, clamps, and other background items in photos not included. Tools not included.
Table 19" wide, 13" Deep
Fence 13" wide
Factory Seconds / Scratch and Dent may be available from time to time - If I have a unit with a ding or scratch in it you will see it in the price list. I'll discount it a few bucks. They are otherwise 100% functional.
