*The Stand Kit is coming soon! Message me if you need it now. *
New and improved Fence for better dust control. Choose either Festool 27mm port or 2.5” dust port at checkout!
Made out of Premium Baltic Birch Plywood. The table is 3/4" and the fence is 1/2". The base plate is .220 PolyCarbonate and NOT a brittle acrylic. Polycarbonate is what most router base plates are from the manufacturer.
INCLUDES the clear plate for your router!!! ITS NOT a "SWISS CHEESE" plate! Meaning, it doesnt have 20 holes drilled in it for a dozen different routers. You can use it as a larger base plate for your handheld trim router anytime you need it! (Milwaukee uses the Round Plate that came with your router)
What you get:
DIY table, DIY Fence, T-Track, scews for T-Track, Two knobs, Two T-Nuts for the knobs, and .220 thick polycarbonate router plate with screw holes for the router you choose. (not milwaukee)
You also have the option of choosing a BLANK Plate that you can put holes in yourself. Use this option if you want to add a router that is not listed in the checkout procedure. I'll drop in a scrap piece of the polycarbonate so you can practice.
If you choose the Milwaukee Compact Router, (2723-20) you will not get an additional plate. Your router table will be cut for the ROUND 5 3/4" base plate that comes with the router. Make sure you still have that plate.
This is a DIY kit. You will get the table and fence "Flat-Packed" for shipping and you will screw/nail the fence together. Screws included!
When I say "DIY" it's not that hard. It's actually kinda fun and I'll provide detailed instructions on how to do it.
This router table is the perfect size. Too large and it wouldn't clamp up safely. Too small and it wouldn't handle a fence and dust control. Having said that, this router table is not for big projects. This is a trim router so it's meant to handle smaller items. I have used a version of it for months in my shop. I made it for myself because I was running so much small stuff all at once that I would fatigue and felt unsafe with the handheld router. Now, I can clamp it up and edge dress boards very quickly without tiring.
I also use a roundover bit and a flush trim bit A LOT! This table allows me to swap routers in and out without having to change bits so often!
I wanted my table to be able to clamp up to my workbench without using special clamps as I didn't want to buy anything new. Notice in my photos that the table is very stable with two simple and small clamps. Most tables I see online have a VERY LARGE infeed portion of the table which I feel may cause some instability. I'll include a set of directions that will show you exactly how to clamp it and use it.
Router, battery, clamps, and other background items in photos not included. Tools not included.
Table 19" wide, 13" Deep
Fence 13" wide
The DIY plate will come with a couple of scrap pieces so you can practice!
Milwaukee Customers - this does not include a plate. You use your Round 5 3/4" Plate that came with your router. If you want the square plate choose the DIY option and you will get a blank that you can put holes in. Message me if you want me to do it.
